Monowave microwave activation: green formation of carbon-carbon bond in solvent free Tiedtke reaction
Résumé
The reaction of a mixture of cyclohexanone and anthranilic acid in a closed reactor without solvent or even catalyst, under monomode microwave irradiation in controlled conditions, allows the synthesis of tetrahydroacridones. The reaction is possible with several other cyclic ketones. This reaction under monomode microwave irradiation is an example of green synthesis involving the formation of a CC bond in the absence of catalyst and solvent with the formation of only a benign water molecule.
